Art Weston caught this enormous 128.37 kilogram( 283 pound ) alligator par on September 2, 2023, while hunting in Sam Rayburn Lake, Texas. With this fish, Art may be able to break both the IGFA All-Tackle and Men’s 3 kg ( 6 lb ) Line Class World Records for the species. Captian Kirk Kirkland and Art were out fishing on the” Garship Enterprise” when the rumored record keeper hooked on some cut bait. After an amazing 2 hours and 45 minute battle, Art was able to get the gar. Art was able to safely release the fish after recording the weight on a certified range.
