The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts announced that families will receive the first round of student awards for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts ( TEFA ) program from April 22 through April 24.
42, 644 people in its best goal level, including those with disability, and their siblings from households making$ 655, 000 or less for a family of four, will receive funding from TEFA. 51 percent of these families come from families with less than$ 66,000 for a family of four, and 49 percent come from families that range between$ 66,000 and$ 165,000.
