ExxonMobil announced that its board of directors had voted overwhelmingly to transfer the company’s authorized domicile from Texas to New Jersey.
Among the comments made by Darren Woods, the company’s chairman and CEO, was that Texas had made a sizable efforts to welcome the business community. In doing so, it has created a regulatory and policy environment that will enable the firm to increase shareholder value.
