The national register as of October 27, 2023, contains this information.
On three National Wildlife Refuges ( NRWs ), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service( Service ) increases hunting opportunities. In order to lessen the public’s regulatory problem, improve access for hunters and anglers on Service lands and waters, and follow with a National authority for ordinary language standards, we even modify current station-specific regulations.
( Editor: This is where things start to get interesting. )
Last but not least, the best research that has been examined as part of this rulemaking shows that direct munitions and tackle have detrimental effects on both animals and animal health. According to this concept, a non-lead condition will be implemented by Blackwater, Chincoteague, Eastern Neck, Erie, Great Thicket, Patuxent Research Refuge, Rachel Carson, and Wallops Island NWRs on September 1, 2026. Beyond drop 2026, there are no opportunities to increase or authorize the new use of direct in hunting and fishing on Services lands and waters, so the Service is still assessing its future.
What do you think about direct bans on national property?
We may dig a little deeper into this. Post your remarks above.
