Democratic State Rep. Chris Turner Loses Primary for Texas House Seat

In a surprising Democratic primary upset, state Rep. Chris Turner (D-Grand Prairie) lost the nomination for Texas House District (HD) 101 to Grand Prairie City Council Member Junior Ezeonu.

Ezeonu won 53 percent of the vote, and Turner received 47 percent.
