After George was suspended from office following his criminal conviction, a district court judge has appointed a Republican candidate for the Fort Bend County prosecutor to complete the vacated expression of the former Judge KP George.
With 54 % of the vote, former Sugar Land City Council member Daniel Wong won the Republican nomination for state judge. George came in last in the 2026 key, switching from the Democrat to the Republican Party last year following his indictment.
