U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made 118 arrests in a multi-agency raid of the Colony Ridge development in Liberty County near Houston, which has been accused of knowingly allowing illegal aliens to purchase property.
Gov. Greg Abbott announced the operation on the morning of February 24: “Colony Ridge is being targeted today. Texas DPS Troopers & Special Agents are assisting Homeland Security Investigations with an operation in Colony Ridge this morning.”
