State Senator Mayes Middleton (R-Galveston ) and U.S. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX-21 ), who have only weeks until early voting in the Republican primary runoff election for Texas attorney general, held a discussion at a Dallas candidate forum on Thursday night to discuss their respective voting records.
Roy took the stage first, praising his legal training and saying,” I think it matters that the attorney general be someone who has practiced rules meaningfully, who has been a counsel.”
