Gov. Greg Abbott’s general counsel has weighed in on the stay of execution of death row inmate Robert Roberson, who is scheduled to provide testimony in front of the Texas House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence.
In a series of legal maneuvers, members of the House were able to secure a subpoena for Roberson to appear before a committee hearing about his case at 12 p.m. on Monday.
