Senate Bill ( SB ) 552, which would prohibit convicted illegal aliens from receiving an early termination of their probation through community service, is one of the bills introduced ahead of Texas ‘ 89th Legislative Session regarding illegal immigration and justice.
According to its definition of illegal aliens, SB 552 proposes that they be ineligible for” judge-ordered or jury-recommended community care” or “deferred judgment group care”.
