I came across an intriguing word while researching a story about great white sharks as lookalikes.
While researching makos, I kept seeing, “up to 19 feet ” as diameter which only boggled my mind. After all, that ’s super-sized great white shark size.
Also, it looks like it could be true. A large female shortfin mako was captured off the coast of Turkey in the 1950s in this image. I’m currently looking for anyone who is still alive who might be involved in this find.
There are numerous online references to this capture, but none of them match the photo’s comment.
I’m currently looking up additional options to learn more.

I used it as a featured image to demonstrate that today’s vintage photographs are quite simply fake, but be wary of what you think.
In reality, I will write a long article about how A. I. is altering the bass photo dynamic, which will undoubtedly use to sharks. Look for that this summers.
Chicanery is being taken to a whole new level however.
