The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is collaborating with Chile to deport three Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang members — one of whom was apprehended, indicted, and imprisoned in Texas — who are wanted in Chile for a plethora of “horrific” crimes.
The DOJ announced the extraditions of TDA members Adrian Rafael Gamez Finol, Miguel Oyola Jimenez, and Edgar Javier Benitez Rubio on March 24, sharing Chile’s request that the U.S. assist in returning them. The DOJ said it will “take swift action to grant … and send these Alien Enemies to Chile.”
