The greater El Paso community is invited to learn about recovering desert bighorn sheep from the Franklin Mountains by the Texas Parks Wildlife Department ( TPWD ).
The Franklin Mountains ‘ past, status, issues, and significance are the subjects of a learning event hosted by TPWD that will provide information about the work being done to restore the plain bighorn sheep in Texas. Starting in October, TPWD may start releasing plain bighorn sheep at the state parks in Franklin Mountains.
A free studio and snacks will be provided for you!
