Six people were detained by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries ( LDWF ) agents for their roles in allegedly committing fraud at hog hunting contests in Caldwell and Bienville parishes.

Before two distinct swine looking competitions in Louisiana, agents received information about the six subjects who had caught wild hogs in Texas. They entered them into the events, which they won.
Agents obtained data during the research that revealed the six people caught pigs in Texas for the March 14 to March 14 Swamp Time Hog Hunt and the February 9 to March 10 Dingler Wild Hog Roundup in Bienville Parish.
Since he did n’t participate in the Caldwell Parish hog hunting contest, Nathan Granger turned himself in on June 4 to the Bienville Parish Jail. On June 7, the five other topics turned themselves in to the Caldwell Parish Jail and the Bienville Parish Jail.
Both swine hunting competition rules mandated that the pigs may be caught in Louisiana and caught during the contest dates.
