La. Terry Brack of the Savage Fork reported catching a largemouth bass in the Sabine River that weighed 15 pounds.
Brack was using an Chaotic Shiner jigging knife to fish for hybrid stripers when he caught the fish on the Sabine River channel’s Texas bank, not far from the source of its power.
Brack remarked,” I had previously caught an 8.5-pounder in that area, but I was surprised to catch for a large bass.”
