With a new bill introduced by a sophomore Texas senator, efforts to increase border security under the approaching Donald Trump administration appear to have some parliamentary support.
Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX-26 ) has introduced a bill, the” REMAIN in Mexico Act”, which would codify and reinstate the 2019 Migrant Protection Protocols. Gill’s act has 74 co-sponsors.
