
Last week, a federal judge in Texas sided with the State of Texas and a group of gun manufacturers in opposing the federal government by reining in the enforcement of the National Firearms Act ( NFA ).
Judge James Wesley Hendrix of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas enjoined the federal government in an attempt on August 5 to stop the federal government from enforcing specific NFA laws against the defendants, which include 15 state as well as a coalition of organizations and advocacy groups.
