Google announced the launch of its$ 10 million Texas Water Impact Fund as the public’s concern about the use of water by large tech companies through data centers continues to grow.
Google’s news probably comes as an attempt to lessen the strain on Texas residents as a result of the state’s increasing pressure on data center construction and their purported water usage. The business is currently working on significant projects across the state, including a data center construction in Wilbarger County and school construction in Haskell and Armstrong regions. Google currently has two data centres in Ellis County.
