GOP Candidates for Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo Win Democratic and Republican Elections

After the two candidates ‘ separate party primary runoff elections on Tuesday, former Houston City Council members Letitia Plummer and former Harris County Treasurer Orlando Sanchez will square off in a November election to replace Harris County judge Lina Hidalgo.

With 51 % of the vote, Plummer defeated former Houston Mayor Annise Parker in an unhappy victory for the Democratic party, outnumbering her rival by about 2,500 seats, based on illegal election results.
