In response to the discovery of a Roblox game simulating the 2022 Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows (R-Lubbock ) added an additional time cost for House members to examine children’s safety net.
His office described the additional cost as “focused on strengthening child safety and enforcing accountability for online gaming platforms that have failed to address common harmful material and risks to minors.”
