Keller Mayor Armin Mizani won the Republican primary for Texas House District (HD) 98, replacing incumbent state Rep. Giovanni Capriglione (R-Southlake), who did not run for re-election.
Mizani won the three-way race against opponents Fred Tate and Zee Wilcox with 53 percent of the votes cast.
