Three Republican candidates backed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton claimed seats on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals (CCA) on election night, defeating their Democratic challengers.
Republican candidates David Schenck, Lee Finley, and Gina Parker held comfortable 20-point margins of victory late Tuesday, leading by over 1.5 million votes each at the time of publication.
