U.S. Congressman Craig Goldman (R-TX-12) has introduced a bill to eliminate capital gains tax for all homeowners who’ve owned their home for more than two years.
The legislation, called the Don’t Tax the American Dream Act, was introduced on Thursday, January 15 by Goldman in response to what he believes is “slowing down” the housing market.
