For 2026 to 2027, the Texas Education Agency Announces Seven Charter School Closures.

Seven charter schools in the state will be closing after the 2025–2026 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency ( TEA ).

Charter schools that do not meet the educational or financial requirements are content to shutdown by the TEA Commissioner, or they may freely renounce their contract agreement.
