Voting on the state board of education’s state-wide required reserve list is open to the TEA.

On January 9, the Texas Education Agency ( TEA ) released its final proposed Required Literary Works List, which will be voted on by the State Board of Education ( SBOE ) at the end of the month.

The list includes books and artistic works recommended for all Texas government and open-enrollment contract schools, as well as for kindergarten through 12th grade.
