Paxton Files a lawsuit against the Texas Drivers Handbook over spiritual advertising restrictions

According to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, First Amendment rights were violated by the Texas Department of Public Safety ( DPS)’s ( TXDOT ) prohibition on religious advertisements in official mailings and the Texas Driver Handbook.

The DPS is accused of violating Paxton’s complaint last week in Travis County District Court.
