Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, announced on Friday, January 9 that his company had won the case against the San Antonio pregnancy journey account. But, his triumph announcement comes just months after the city admitted it would not provide for its residents to pay for abortion travel.
The San Antonio City Council approved adding an additional$ 100, 000 to its” Reproductive Justice Fund” in April 2025 to help pay for travel for abortions outside of the state. Paxton then claims that he has ended that bank.
