The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals (CCA) has issued a letter detailing “ex parte” communication between State Rep. Jeff Leach (R-Plano) and a sitting judge regarding the case of death row inmate Robert Roberson.
Roberson was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death in 2003 in connection with the death of his two-year-old daughter, Nikki Curtis, in 2002.
